Service Agreement

Three levels of service are offered to meet your specific needs. LiteSentry offers these programs to improve your return on investment, proactively provide updated code, annual training of your team, automatic production reports emailed to your team and discounted spare parts.

LiteSentry prides itself on the Osprey being a very low maintenance, low cost of ownership while providing a high reliability plus high accuracy inspection system. LiteSentry "Optical measurement systems have only three moving parts making for minimal maintenance". With minimal maintenance Osprey systems have performed in the field for 20-years, providing a Return on Investment multiple times greater than the original calculated ROI.

As with any capital equipment, some attention is needed to maximize the value. Challenges often faced are:

  • Turnover can leave plants with staff under trained on how to fully utilize their Osprey.
  • New and changing customer/project/internal specifications and how to apply those to the Osprey.
  • Software code improvement offering new features, such as Center Kink (XmD) Quality Test.

Plan Levels

LiteSentry Annual Customer Care Agreement provides three levels of care:

CODE PROTECTION PLAN - I

Ensure optimal performance of your generation of Osprey with immediate access to new features and code updates proactively provided.

PERFORMANCE PLAN - II

Code Protection Plan I plus items below:

  • Remote Technical Support at no additional cost.
  • 10% off list price of all Osprey spare parts
  • Annual on-site visit:
    • Osprey system checkup of all components and system setup – including optical alignment of cameras and pattern diffuser.
    • Validate your Osprey’s performance
    • Training of staff to interpret Osprey inspection results.
    • Train your team through organizational transitions, and help your experienced operators stay on top of best practices with this annual on-site training
    • Train staff how to use all features and databases, including new features with updated code.

OPTIMAL CARE - III

Code Protection Plans I & Performance Plan II plus items below:

  • Stay ahead of any potential downtime with help from LiteSentry engineers that remotely check diagnostics on your Osprey system.
  • Receive automatically generated shift, day, week and monthly reports of Osprey performance emailed to your team.
    • Number of total pieces - pass, fail and percentage
    • Number of Coated pieces - pass, fail and percentage
    • Number of NON-Coated pieces - pass, fail and percentage
    • SqFt (SqM) total - pass, fail and percentage
    • SqFt (SqM) Coated total - pass, fail and percentage
    • SqFt (SqM) NON-Coated total - pass, fail and percentage
    • Osprey run-time - hours, percentage of total time
    • Piece Count / Total Area per each enabled Quality Test
    • Osprey report of manual system shutdown by program type
    • Osprey Calibration Activity - date and time of each occurrence

  • Train staff how to use all features and databases, including any new features with updated code.
  • Updated code proactively provided to each covered Osprey system throughout the term of the contract to the highest level code each Osprey hardware can accept.
  • Remote Technical support at no additional cost – up to 30-hours of technical support per system.
  • 10% discount off Osprey Spare Parts list price.
  • Stay ahead of any potential downtime with help from LiteSentry engineers that remotely check diagnostics on your Osprey system.
  • Receive automatically generated shift, day, week and monthly reports of Osprey performance emailed to your team.
PLAN COMPARISON
