Osprey® Distortion Measurement System for Glass
Patented
New in 2010
Osprey® HR (High Resolution) version available for solar module fabrication.
Standard version for architectural and residential glass fabrication.
Osprey® by LiteSentry™ Distortion Measurement System providing on-line visual inspection for optical distortion and thickness of heat-treated glass. 100% measurement of every lite in both X and Y dimensions. Actual millidiopter measurements of all optical distortion including Roll wave, Pocket, Edge kink, and Hammer distortion. Utilizing patented optics, high-speed CCD cameras and powerful algorithms, Osprey® by LiteSentry™ is the industry standard.
- Improves quality & reduces product returns. Real-time feedback allows furnace operator to improve process control.
- Increases Throughput – Process control improves load utilization 10% to 33%.
- Decreases labor required for inspection while providing 100% inspection and compliance to ASTM C 1048 specifications.
- Decreases scrap – Improves yield 1% to 2% with lower quench break and inadequate break pattern.
